Cathryn C. Schmidt

Ms. Schmidt graduated from William Mitchell College of Law, cum laude, in 1994 and the University of Minnesota in 1982. Ms. Schmidt was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Gordon W. Shumaker and the Honorable John S. Connolly in Ramsey County District Court. Ms. Schmidt assisted Judge Shumaker in the silicone breast implant insurance coverage case. Until recently, Ms. Schmidt was an Assistant Ramsey Country Public Defender and maintained a solo practice with an emphasis on Family Law. Ms. Schmidt is a member of the Warren E. Burger Inn of Court, and recently named a " Rising Star" in the law community by Minnesota Law and Politics. Ms. Schmidt limits her practice to matrimonial law.
